This trip gives you the skills you need to become an independent outdoor sport leader, with a maximum 1:4 and minimum 1:2 ratio. The course begins with an optional indoor evening session to learn the necessary techniques, then you have a full day on the rock to consolidate and put your new skills into practice. Your instructor will take you to the area with the best weather on the day, ensuring maximum time on the rock with the best conditions. We provide any kit that you may need, and tailor the choice of routes to your ability.

Experience needed: you must be a competent indoor leader, comfortable top-roping 6a. If you’ve never led before, no problem - contact us to discuss a bespoke booking.
